Do you aspire to be a content marketing rock star, but just haven’t found your stage?

We are looking for a passionate, super motivated content marketer to join a fast growing marketing technology company with very big plans based in Toronto. Your mentors are Ann Handley, Joe Chernov and Jason Miller. You are a problem solving entrepreneur who has a gift for storytelling through written words, audio and images that draws an audience in.

The rock star in this role is a stellar communicator with a deep understanding of marketing and its challenges. You love to create compelling content, with consideration for brand consistency, segmentation and localization, analytics and meaningful measurement. You are a collaborator and journalist who knows how to develop the brand story and the story as interpreted by the customer.

What you’d need to do:

Creation and management of all LookBook content.

  • Convey LookBookHQ’s value proposition, positioning and messaging by creating the most powerful and PERSUASIVE content across all applications.

  • Help map out a content strategy determining which methods work best for the LookBook brand, leveraging marketing data to reinforce themes

  • Create and manage thought leadership pieces (from initial copy development to asset production) including:

    • Collateral, presentations, whitepapers, website, sales enablement, social media, webinars, video, blog posts, case studies, social media posts, press releases, etc.

  • Outstanding command of the English language. You are the all-knowing guru of best practices in grammar, spelling, messaging, writing, and style.

  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice as well as being optimized for search and social promotion.

  • Periodically measure content effectiveness, gathering the data to make recommendations for improvement.

You’re measured on the continual improvement of customer nurturing and retention through storytelling, as well as the increase in new prospects.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree. Concentration in Marketing a plus.

  • 5 years of experience in multichannel content creation (publishing, journalism, etc.).

  • Interest in, and understanding of MAP Software Industry and B2B Go to Market processes and tactics.

  • A passion for new technology tools (aka, using the tools you preach about) and usage of those tools within your own blogs and social media outreach. Social DNA a plus!

  • Highly motivated and willing to work within a fast paced environment with an innate sense of urgency. A willingness to embrace change and to adapt strategies on the fly.

  • Ability to partner with others to achieve objectives as well as ability to work and execute autonomously.

    The position is based in Toronto and will be reporting directly to the VP of Marketing.
