POSITION SUMMARY

The Associate Account Manager, Media Sales and Partnerships is responsible for development of media program communication to the advertising community. This role supports prospecting and marketing communication efforts by the Media Sales and Partnerships team in order to maximize advertisement revenues in accordance with agreed company policy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Development of digital media communication to advertisers and their agencies

-Support Account team strategic objectives on behalf of ad sales in accordance with agreed company policy

-Develop a key business communications

-Develop knowledge base concerning Totem titles and competitive market

-Assist in planning and preparing individual presentations for advertisers and their agencies

-Support booked business in conjunction with the Production, Finance and Account Departments

-Support tactical sales plans for agreed clients, agencies or categories

-Support the development of additional revenue through creative selling

-Lead the development of sales tools

-Provide general support to media sales team and director

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years advertising sales department experience
  • Magazine and production knowledge/experience
  • Competence with CMS and API delivery executions
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel a must
  • Presentation preparation and delivery
  • Digital production experience with Illustrator and InDesign
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Comscore, PMB and At Plan experience
  • Communication and customer service skills
  • Coordination of media sales and research communications
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work with tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
