Assistant Trade Marketing Manager full-time
The Asst. Trade Marketing Manager will develop marketing strategy and deliver world-class
execution of various marketing activities designed to increase sell-in and sell-through at Retail, and ultimately aid in augmenting household penetration in the Canadian market.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy: In conjunction with the Director develop and implement Sodastream CA trade marketing strategies and plans that help to achieve both company and retailer sales objectives. Maintain expertise on all aspects of each retailers’ business, strategies, guidelines and opportunities.
Execution: Manage and track all trade/retailer programs to ensure an effective and efficient model and implementation. Scope of work: develop and execute in store POP and branding materials, retail promotions and ads, retailtainment programs, product displays and vendor shows; manage merchandising team day-to-day requirements; manage demo team day-today requirements (if applic); source relevant promotional partnerships, manage marketing services storage company and inventory.
Leadership and Communication: Work closely with fellow Marketing and Sales Team members, and also independently. Be a leader on progress, issues, initiatives, customers and opportunities. Inspire and embody world-class performance and revolutionary thinking and execution. Own projects and timelines while keeping key stakeholders informed. Liaise and be key point of contact for Global Trade Marketing. Engage and be engaged.
EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE
Experience in trade marketing (2- 5 years), with outstanding track record
Experience with various classes of trade beyond grocery: mass, department store, drug, club
Experience managing/coordinating 3rd party merchandising and marketing fulfilment agencies
Strong business savvy, budget management and negotiation skills
Strong communication skills
Strong ability to multi-task
Pro-active with ability to prioritize
Strong analytical and project management skills. Ability to establish and manage KPIs
Experience and understanding of digital landscape
