We have a temporary full time employment opportunity in our Marketing Department for an Advertising Assistant. This position reports to the Supervisor, Production.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Liaises with merchandising team, layout artists and photographers to obtain copy and photography for print media production.

• Assists layout artists in proofing print media advertising.

• Inputs print production information in database.

• Responds to queries relating to print production process.

Qualifications:

• Previous administrative experience and typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.

• Proficiency with MAC or PC applications (primarily MS Word and Excel).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and planning abilities with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.

Please note that this is a temporary full time position expected to last for the duration of approximately 12 months.
