Reporting to the CEO & President, the VP of Marketing serves as a member of the senior leadership team. The VP of Marketing is responsible for developing SNFC’s communication, marketing and public relations strategy and will contribute to the company’s strategic direction and operations. The VP of Marketing will develop world class branding and communications plans for SNFC and affiliate brands, directly managing activities that enhance, promote and protect the company’s reputation. The VP of Marketing will be responsible for the development, implementation and integration of a broad range of marketing and public relations activities that relate to the company’s direction, growth and leadership in the fitness industry.

Responsibilities:

Leadership, Vision & Strategy

  • Serve as a member of the senior leadership team to support the achievement of company goals, growth and vision.

  • Oversee all aspects of the marketing vision and strategy, including content, design and videography; analytics and digital strategy; social media presence; and events.

  • Identify and implement strategies to increase engagement of our members, guest and walk-in traffic and lead generation.

  • Conduct competitive analysis of the environment and markets we operate in; identify opportunities for growth and trends within the fitness industry.

Operations

  • Achieve monthly growth and lead targets. Track and report on these metrics and performance; present to the President & COO.

  • Create, delegate and execute the annual marketing budget; adjust as required to ensure growth and lead targets are being achieved.

  • Oversee various vendor relationships, including e-commerce, online marketing, public relations, merchandizers, suppliers, various advertising sources, etc.

  • Engage and manage media relationships to ensure coverage of company and franchises events; and serve as a spokesperson.

Team Development & Management

  • Lead the Marketing Team, provide coaching, feedback and performance management as required. Support their long-term career development.

  • Prioritize day-to-day activities, various initiatives and projects; allocate resources accordingly.

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
