Video Editor contract

We are a local Vancouver production company that specializes in corporate, commercial and documentary video work. We're looking for an on call editor who can help us on a contract basis for various post production jobs with the potential for future full time/part time employment. We require 3+ years worth of relevant experience in the industry and prefer someone with formal training from an accredited film school. Our ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of storytelling and filmmaking and have the ability to finish projects under hard deadlines. We require proficient knowledge in Adobe Premiere Pro CC and After Effects CC.

We have an in house editing suite available, but would require the right candidate to also have their own computer and software to work remotely as well. Although we allow the option to work remotely, we would want the ideal candidate to come into our Burnaby studio to work alongside us on a project to project basis.
