Job Description

An exciting and challenging position exists as Trade Marketing Coordinator at Vega’s head office in Burnaby, BC. We are seeking an experienced professional with two years marketing experience to join our marketing department on a full-time basis. You will work closely with our trade marketing team to support marketing and sales programs throughout Canada and the USA. The core responsibility of this role is to support marketing initiatives at the retail level including trade support materials, communication, training and education, POP and merchandising materials and demos.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day trade support request and material development for North American sales team
  • Write content for promotional materials, communication and training
  • Coordinate education programs, training sessions and sales meetings as required
  • Coordinate marketing and sales samples
  • Liaise with operations to coordinate item set up and marketing inventory purchases
  • Develop planograms
  • Coordinate implementation of mailouts and email newsletters


  • Business degree in marketing
  • Two years experience in marketing
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills as well as the ability to multitask among a multitude of projects and responsibilities
  • Basic design and layout skills
  • Understanding of retail merchandising an asset
