Position Summary

Do you have a passion for recruitment? Are you able to handle high volumes of work, have solid organization skills and can juggle multiple priorities and tasks? The Talent Acquisition & Marketing Team is looking for a Service Partner to support all aspects of recruitment.

The Service Partner will perform technical and confidential administrative support, as well as providing advice and guidance on issues related but not limited to hiring practices, offer letter clauses, job postings and any policy issues. The Service Partner will work as part of a support team to the recruitment function, and will be involved in the following: • Creating & monitoring external job postings • Pre-screening of applicants • Developing and maintaining statistical reports • Verification of Offer Details for example registration numbers, licenses/certification sites etc • Coordination of recruitment marketing events (Career Fairs both regional, national & international) • Administers the sourcing strategy for each collective bargaining unit & non-contract portfolio (E.g brochures, advertisements, ad copy writing) • Collects, organizes & reports vacancy and other data to support the development of recruitment metrics • Supports the hiring manager & recruiter in creation of recruitment focused guides • Marketing, advertising duties that will include creating campaigns for hard to fill areas, creating advertisement and posting on job boards.

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or related field. CPHR is considered an asset. Minimum 3 years of related work experience. Candidates who demonstrate equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.

Skills & Abilities: • Excellent communication skills both Oral and Written • Knowledge of administrative practices sufficient to assist the Recruiters with a variety of tasks • Sound Judgment & problem solving skills • Ability to organize & prioritize workload • Ability to be discrete, tactful and flexible • High level skills in word processing, spreadsheet applications • Superior team working skills • Ability to take initiative, work independently and with limited supervision • Marketing experience and or demonstrated knowledge is an asset. Current Internal IH employees will receive first consideration for this position.
