The Sr. Web Producer will work closely with cross functional scrum teams to develop personalized, intelligent websites and other site-based web assets. They will serve as a technical liaison among creative, development, and content teams. They will be responsible for executing quality assurance procedures to minimize production errors and will work with cross functional teams to document best practices. The Producer is responsible for overall visitor satisfaction, quality, and on-time, on-budget completion of deliverables. You must be an effective communicator with an eye for fantastic creative work and be able to identify and sell innovative ideas to internal clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the architecture, design and development of the Canadian Salesforce.com website (in English and French) - with a view to building a prospect and customer community, and ultimately to drive increasingly better trial and demo conversion.
  • Evaluate, maintain and improve existing code base to ensure that it is well structured and is compatible with approved browsers and devices.
  • Own and champion the user experience and overall B2B find, try, buy user journey.
  • Work closely with the HQ web team and Canadian Marketing Team to ensure consistent brand implementation across all online properties.
  • Coordinate and monitor the production of web campaigns.
  • Effectively partner with creative and digital agencies that support all online efforts.
  • Maintain and report on the required analytics for all sites, setting clear goals, and effectively communicating performance against these goals.
  • Work with cross functional teams to conceive, design and launch new web products.
  • Create, edit and arrange text, video, audio, images and other materials.
  • Focus on defining innovative, relevant, and highly effective interactive experiences.
  • Monitor and analyze web statistics to optimize the website.
  • Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of Canadian website.

Required Experience

  • Bachelors from 3-4 year college/university
  • 4+ years experience managing or developing web sites.
  • 4+ years experience hand-coding semantically correct CSS and HTML
  • 4+ years experience with JavaScript, Ajax and XML
  • Experience implementing and accurately interpreting Web analytics data
  • Experience building responsive Websites
  • Intermediate French speaking, reading, writing skills
  • Managing web site translation/internationalization where required
  • Optimize site and site content to maximize visibility and search ranking
  • Desired Skills:
  • Ability to think globally
  • CRM and/or enterprise software experience highly desirable
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of Internet best practices and standards
  • Working knowledge of: graphic design, web interface design, and multimedia. Graphic design background a big plus
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical problems logically and systematically.
  • Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, think through problems to come up with innovative solutions and deliver against very tight deadlines while keeping a keen eye on detail and accuracy.
