The role of the Senior Video Editor is dynamic and multi-faceted. It requires advanced communication skills, a strong ability to prioritize tasks to balance multiple deadlines, and knowledge of how to excel while working under pressure. The Senior Video Editor will follow the lead of the FIFA POC and will collaborate with our Post-Production Director and the other members of the Mediaworks team.

Job Description:

• Edit video and create motion graphics.

• Work closely with the Mediaworks FIFA POC to help manage client relationships. Consult with client to provide the best solutions for the creation of video assets that accomplish the desired end result.

• Manage resources and work within budgets.

• Work collaboratively with editors, game capture artists and motion graphic designer/compositors.

  Qualifications:

• Expert level editing and Adobe After Effects skills. Experience with 3D software a plus

• Ability to creatively engage with a team of editors, compositors and graphic designers

• Proficient communication skills

• Excellent customer service

• Thorough understanding of video games

• Passion for sports especially soccer

• Vast knowledge of video post technology, pipelines and workflows

• Thorough knowledge and experience of video/film production

• General understanding of the business of Marketing

• General understanding of consumers and social media

• Team player

• Knowledge of possibilities and limitations for in-game asset creation

• Qualifications should include something like a 'show reel'

• Likes to play video games is a bonus
