Position Summary:

As a Sr. Marketing Specialist in this 12 month contract opportunity, you will be expected to plan, develop & coordinate the implementation of promotional programs in support of marketing plan and corporate goals. To ensure achievement of all volume & revenue goals as well as customer acquisition, retention & satisfaction goals. To analyze and develop recommendations for marketing opportunities and problems and to utilize optimization techniques for customer value enhancement and marketing continuous improvement.

Essential Duties:

Plans, develops and implements promotional programs to allow FedEx to capitalize on opportunities within key market segments.

Develops and recommends objectives, strategies and tactics to drive customer acquisition, usage and share by executing programs and events; producing integrated communications reinforcing FedEx positioning and image.

Develops and implements marketing programs designed to bring all customers through the lifecycle, utilize segment marketing techniques to acquire new customers, re-activate lapsed customers and increase and retain usage by current customers.

Develops program budgets in accordance with overall department budget and ensures programs are completed within budget.

Monitors and ensures timely processing and maintenance of paperwork & administrative requirements related to marketing programs, outside contracts, budgets, etc.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Administration.

Four (4) years professional marketing communications experience within a corporate environment executing marketing promotional programs.

Strong computer experience required.

Strong communication skills, both oral and written with promotional copy writing experience.

Strong interpersonal skills required.
