The Job In A Nutshell

As our Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the execution and management of all things marketing at Nextopia. You are a creative and driven individual and are passionate about marketing and advancing the success of Nextopia. Your job will be to inspire, create, and help lead our team to marketing greatness.


As Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Assist in the management, coordination, and execution of Nextopia's marketing campaigns to meet and exceed company expectations
  • Help manage our Direct Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, Online Marketing (SEO & SEM), Social Media and Event Marketing campaigns
  • Achieve targeted results and ensure timely and effective execution of marketing tactics and programs
  • Analyze, evaluate, plan and execute on both existing and potential marketing activities and strategies
  • Measure the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing programs through defined benchmark criteria
  • Create and execute PR activities that result in write ups, reviews, awards, and analyst relationships
  • Become an expert user of our product so you can gain a deep understanding of its value proposition and target audience
  • Create and manage SEO / SEM & PPC campaigns targeting Internet retailers
  • Work with our Engineering and Design team to make SEO related website optimizations
  • Create and manage the generation of corresponding content in a compelling way that generates new business through landing page and lead generation techniques
  • Champion our brand on social media
  • Work with the company leadership to develop marketing content on various platforms, including: eBooks, White Papers, videos, podcasts, company blog posts, press releases and press interviews
  • Create entirely new ways of engaging prospects and clients
  • Ensure that all of our campaigns are executed on time and within budget
  • Help coach, mentor and raise the team’s ability to deliver and exceed expectations

Must Have Skills / Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of marketing experience in a B2B setting
  • University or College Degree
  • A keen passion for technology
  • Excellent communication and English language skills (oral and written)
  • Proven ability to create compelling branded content
  • Experience managing social media channels
  • Experience with Google AdWords and Google Analytics

  • eCommerce industry knowledge
  • eCommerce industry knowledge
  • Tech industry experience
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or support for Software as a Service (SaaS) technologies
  • Experience managing a team
