Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you will be working closely with the Marketing and Content Team to grow our social media presence and digital audience, while leading Vega into the forefront of social media innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead social media strategy to support digital marketing goals and overall all business objectives
  • Develop and lead social media guidelines
  • Coordinate community management with Digital Engagement Team (DET)
  • Manage content strategy and publishing on all social media channels (leveraged by DET, strategic accounts and partners)
  • Develop and lead execution of campaign strategy for social including paid and organic tactics
  • Manage social analytic dashboard and monthly reporting (owned channels)
  • Develop and implement competitor social media reporting
  • Manage, report, and analyze social advertising
  • Oversee Vega’s Experiential Community and Vega Team social media channels
  • Champions latest social media and technologies

Skills and Qualifications

  • University or College Degree in Digital Marketing Communications
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in social media
  • Strong writing skills – ability to write and edit for online voice
  • Top level knowledge from posting to analyzing insights of (but not limited to): Facebook, Twitter, HootSuite, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+, and YouTube
  • Knowledge of social media monitoring software tools an asset (HootSuite Premium/Enterprises)
  • Solid understanding of Google Analytics and reporting
  • Performance driven with desire to take on a high level of responsibility and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Goal-oriented – you are known for your integrity; you always do what you say you will do
  • Proactive with the ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision
  • Team player with ability and willingness to accept and provide feedback
  • Passion for health, fitness, and nutrition
  • Enthusiastic about customer service – both internal and external
  • Driven, energetic, and self-motivated
