Trevor//Peter Communications is a marketing agency that builds strategic, multi-dimensional, highly stylized campaigns that connect brand to consumer.

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to help round out our team. The right candidate will be responsible for engaging, supporting and assisting with content development for various social media outlets such as discussion boards, blogs, and other popular social media platforms. The right candidate must have a true passion for social media, technology, trends and innovation in the digital and social space and they must have remarkable writing skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Campaign Development:

• Define the social media support strategy
• Team brainstorming to help craft Social Media campaigns and promotions
• Experiment on ways to leverage social media activities
• Initial setup of social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Flickr, etc)
• Coordinating creative executions for landing pages, default graphics, and other elements within the communities

2. Community Management:

• Day-to-day community management, fan engagement, page and content moderation, and general outreach
• Increase visibility, traffic and membership to all social media venues
• Ensure brands are participating effectively and are being well represented

3. Research and Analysis:

• Investigate trending activities
• Benchmark effectiveness of social media streams against those of key competitors
• Measure and track trends and issues to improve support and experience

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s Degree advertising, communications, marketing, new media or public relations
• Knowledge of and experience with online networks (including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google, Tumblr, MySpace etc.)
• Talented writer with ability to write succinct, intelligent, creative and fun copy
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and switch gears and mind-set frequently and rapidly to capitalize on traffic opportunities
• Comfortable working independently and in collaborative scenarios
• Exceptional work ethic
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
