This individual is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that exceed organizational sales goals and increasing market share loyalty through the development of world class creative.  As the Senior Vice President, Creative you will define the luxury lifestyle shopping experience through building lasting relationships with our people, customers and partners by inspiring and motivating the creative team.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Oversee and propel the strategic creative direction of Holt Renfrew
  • Design world class creative for best-in-class luxury retail experiences that profiles Holt Renfrew product and drives customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Oversee key brand-consistent seasonal themes for Spring, Fall and Holiday that supports the seasonal fashion direction & product buy
  • Develop and implement brand standard guidelines that cover visual territory for the brand, as well as copy voice, tone, and manner
  • Oversee the development and execution of creative concepts in support of all Holt Renfrew initiatives through various channels including, but not limited to catalogs, newspaper, magazine, signage, website, digital display, social channels and visual
  • Collaborates across the organization and influences creative solutions to support key initiatives in all areas of the business, including Merchandising, Store Experience, Network Development, Human Resources, etc. that exceed customer expectations
  • Oversee Fashion Direction to develop a trend forecasting/communication process that ensures clarity in customer messaging for seasonal statements
  • Lead, motivate, and retain a team of high performing employees that is capable of delivering results
  • Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements

The ideal candidate:

  • Has strategic and leadership capabilities combined with proven experience in successfully transforming creative marketing organizations to best in class creative houses
  • A leader who has demonstrated success in accelerated and profitable sales growth
  • University degree (ideally in Marketing, Fine Arts or Business) that may include an MBA
  • 8 to 10 years of senior leadership experience
  • Has demonstrated success as a senior retail leader ideally in luxury retail
  • Passionate about fashion and luxury retailing
