Senior Marketing Manager

Based in Vancouver, OUTtv is a vibrant broadcaster and streaming service that is expanding internationally. We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to work directly under the Chief Marketing Officer. The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development, management and execution of broadcast and SVOD marketing campaigns, social, publicity and partner relations. Experience in broadcast and/or digital entertainment and a track record of successful project management is highly desired. This person will develop and execute marketing campaigns for OUTtv broadcast, SVOD and specific programming. The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for managing a team of 3-4 people, along with contractors, and will liaise with the technical/product team and third-party platforms
As the Senior Marketing Manager, you will:
·Manage and execute marketing plans for the network and specific programming across channels including online, email, social, broadcast to build brand awareness and to drive customer acquisition
·Develop marketing calendar and define timelines from ideation to launch by working closely with CMO, broadcast operations and programming
·Project manage - delegating responsibilities, assignments and tasks to the marketing team and contractors as necessary, ensuring that timelines are met
·Work closely with the broadcast operations and product team, production partners and platforms including, but not limited to Amazon Prime, Apple TV and Roku
·Lead audits of competitor brands, products and marketing activities
·Manage day-to-day relationships with external brand partners
·Provide insights on industry trends and opportunities to senior management
·Evaluate content performance regularly and make recommendations to CMO and management team based on performance metrics
·5+years of experience in a marketing role, or a combination of strategy, program management, communications, and business operations field; with 3+ years of experience managing a team.
·Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to present ideas to an executive audience
·Strong leadership skills
·Ability to drive projects from concept to completion and effectively manage cross-functional teams
·Strong creative eye with experience briefing designers and providing feedback
·Experience managing suppliers, budgets, external agencies and third parties
·Analytical mindset, demonstrated ability to apply data and insights into marketing strategy and to drive results
·Strong writing skills, specifically copywriting and brand communication
·Good knowledge of MS Office and major social media platforms
·High energy and entrepreneurial-minded with the ability to successfully drive projects with minimal guidance
·Already familiar with OUTtv’s brand, programming and positioning
·Strong interest and passion for TV, film and LGBTQ2+ programming
·Goal-oriented, outgoing, well organized, efficient with a high level of attention to detail
·Strong desire to learn, experiment, and innovate with technology
·Familiarity with digital marketing platforms/tools(Mailchimp, Facebook Ads Manager, Google AdWords etc).
