The Senior Marketing Associate is responsible for leading the development and alignment of key stakeholders to, all regional marketing initiatives, and integrates with sales to ensure healthy lead bases and occupancy gains across a specified geographic region and all Revera Retirement Communities within the designated region(s). The Senior Marketing Associate executes all individual regional marketing tactics and conducts analysis as per the approved plans and budget.  The Senior Marketing Associate provides support to the Senior Marketing Manager and/or Vice President of Marketing on Ad Hoc Corporate Strategic Initiatives as required.

This position can be based in Vancouver, BC, Calgary, AB, Edmonton, AB or Regina, SK.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the on-going lead and daily point of contact for any marketing initiatives within the designated portfolio;
• Identify and share best practices through a variety of forums including key communication forums and strong integration with regional teams at key meetings representing marketing;
• Lead the strategic planning for regional and local marketing campaigns and secure alignment from key stakeholders;
• Optimize advertising budgets (including gaining alignment and negotiations with vendors and stakeholders) through a variety of channels/tactics to meet or exceed objectives and produce a positive ROI (channels include but are not limited to: Direct Mail, Radio, Print, Out Of Home, Signage, and Digital);
• Activate national marketing programs within a defined region(s) as per direction from Senior Marketing Manager;
• Track, monitor and share results (ROIs) on marketing programs. Leverage insights to support future marketing program proposals and recommendations;
• Work with the Digital Team to enhance our local and regional digital marketing presence and own the sharing of results;
• Support specific ad hoc Support Office Marketing Initiatives as needed to reach Marketing or Business Division Annual Goals;
• Responsible for marketing programs from end to end (planning, exaction, production, and measurement.);
• To uphold and promote the organization's values and philosophy relating particularly to ethics, morality, and integrity as set out in Revera's Code of Conduct;
• To complete all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Business Degree or Diploma focused in Marketing
• 5-7 years of marketing experience; local campaign development and execution is considered to be an asset
• Traditional media planning and buying (newspaper, direct mail, flyers, radio) is considered an asset
• Exposure to account management in a franchise/retail environment is considered an asset
• Travel is required at a minimum of 40%. Travel to visit Revera retirement communities located within designated portfolio, corporate support office (Mississauga, ON) and meetings and conferences as needed.
