Senior Advertising Manager Full-Time

Laura Ballance Media Group is seeking a seasoned, talented and networked media buying and marketing professional to support its growing advertising team. This position will be a leader within the firm, working alongside the VP of Advertising and mentoring other staff in the organization. The individual needed for this role is a senior strategist and will be relied on to plan, execute and report back on creative and innovative buys, traditional and digital for LBMG clients.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong media buy planning, project management, research and technical skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently¬†and within a team
  • Excellent writing ability
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines when faced with multiple requests for action from a variety of sources
  • Knowledge of media landscape and its evolution (mainstream, digital and ethnic)
  • Excellent English skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail and task oriented
  • Willingness to work flexible hours (weekend events for clients)


  • Min. of 3-5 years experience, preferably in an agency environment with a focus on media planning/buying locally and nationally
  • Working on campaigns start to finish, strategy, planning, promotions, presenting to client, wrap reports (approx. portfolio holds 15-20 accounts- big and small)
  • Reports to and assists VP of Advertising on all accounts within the LBMG portfolio
  • Works with Media and Event Coordinator on day to day basis on buying, presentations, promotions, client wrap reports etc.
  • Manage and execute all promotional components of every campaign within the agency
  • Ability to work with LBMG's PR team to provide an integrated offering
  • Education- Degree or diploma in Media, Advertising, Communications or similar
