Primary Purpose of Position:

The Sales and Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the sales and marketing functions of our International Business department as Organika continues to expand their presence across 25 countries around the world and counting. Reporting to the Vice President of International Business, the Sales and Marketing Coordinator will focus on the implementation of marketing initiatives and sales management.

Please note that due the nature of working with overseas clients, 70% of the work will be done at the office during regular office hours, and 30% of the work will be done off hours to accommodate time zones. Mobile phone and iPad will be provided.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Marketing (60% of position)

  • Implements Organika corporate projects initiatives.
  • Coordinates with distributors of Organika’s new product development.
  • Provides distributors with marketing collaterals and social media campaigns.
  • Researches international marketing and media groups and collaborates with them on key projects.
  • Eagerly contributes to crazy and weird ideas during collaborative brainstorm sessions.

Sales (40% of position)

  • Monitor key clients’ sales cycle for inventory replenishments.
  • Introduces new products.
  • Provides assistance in product registrations and logistics requirements.
  • Hungry to learn sales strategies and techniques.

Required Skills and Training

  • A university degree or college diploma in marketing, business administration or related field.
  • 1-2 years of marketing experience.
  • Fluent oral and written communication in Mandarin and/or Cantonese required.
  • Experience in social media or digital marketing is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented, organized and able to stay on top of simultaneous ongoing projects.
  • Passion and knowledge of food supplements and nutrition is an asset.
  • Able to attend both local and international trade shows and events.
