We build partnerships with authorized independent and franchise automobile dealers to help them grow their businesses and serve their special finance customers.

Purpose:

The incumbent will contribute to the overall success of the Marketing & Sales Support department of Scotia Dealer Advantage in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

We are looking for:

-A self-starter who wants to join a small yet instrumental team within Scotia Dealer Advantage

-Someone who has the ability to prioritize their workload

-Someone who can be prompt, resourceful, and professional in their dealings with Senior and Executive levels of management

Accountabilities:

-Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.

-Providing administrative support to the Sales department and other internal departments by: reviewing all delegated projects, report requests, dealer agreement processing and performing dealer partner data maintenance; auditing of all dealer agreement contracts to ensure completed according to the approved sales policies and procedures while ensuring dealer partner privacy is maintained; distributing marketing and promotional materials as well as providing general support for all sales related events and activities; completing the administration relating to territory changes and re-alignments and monthly subvention changes; resending EFT Notifications to dealers as required; assisting in the organization and distribution of company merchandise along with completing inventory; maintenance of the dealer agreement, scanning files, shredding according to policy along with other duties as assigned.

-Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

-Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

-Champions a high performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment; communicating vison/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team.

Skills:

-Previous administrative support experience preferred.

-Knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel or equivalent.

-Fluent in French & English would be an asset
