The Role

Tesla Motors Inc. is looking to reinvent the trade-in and vehicle remarketing business, and we are looking for innovators to help us in this endeavor. As a Regional Remarketing Program Manager for Tesla Motors, you will have the opportunity to shape and deliver on a strategy to engineer an innovative solution to market previously owned Tesla products and handle our vehicle trade-in business.  This individual will partner with the Remarketing and Sales Operations teams to completely reimagine the pre-owned car buying experience and revolutionize the automotive industry’s view on what is possible with vehicle remarketing.  You will accomplish something that has never been done before.

Your responsibilities will include targeting and driving the necessary business partners for vehicle trade-ins and acting as a conduit on our behalf for those business relationships. Furthermore, the Regional Remarketing Program Manager  is responsible for pre-owned Tesla inventory control and maintaining a constant pulse on market conditions.  You will work closely with a global remarketing team to help advance Tesla’s ability to address our customer’s needs, concerns, and requests from the field. A sharpened sense of ownership, swift implementation, and scrappiness is required. The best candidate for this role is equally comfortable as an individual contributor as well as a team leader in an all hands on deck environment. You will communicate between many functions of Tesla’s business, including: Sales, Delivery, Service, and Finance. We move fast... and continual improvement is important. You must be prepared to learn on your feet and build a foundation for this rapidly growing business function.


  • Coordinate with Sales and Delivery teams to provide a competitive market value for customer trade-in vehicles
  • Work closely with all teams on trade-in process, documentation, and act as a liaison with outside business partners
  • Serve as a key member of the remarketing team to drive pre-owned vehicle sales, marketing, training, and inventory control
  • Define remarketing best practices for sales and delivery teams together with the Regional Sales, Delivery, and Service Managers
  • Execute on all business dealings in a way that represents Tesla by creating a superior ownership experience
  • Record information and ensure data quality in, Warp Drive and other record-keeping systems
  • Travel to Tesla locations within region to participate in training with Sales, Service and Delivery teams
  • Participate in testing of new, updated and innovative processes
  • Present key findings and data to North America Sales, Delivery, and Service Managers and Executives


  • BA/BS in Business, or equivalent preferred
  • 3 – 5 Years of business development, business analytics, and/or vehicle remarketing expertise
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across complex internal and external organizations
  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate in a team environment
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must
  • Solid experience presenting business analytics through Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Coach and train internal and external clients on new processes and best practices
  • Creative thinker with the ability to resolve critical problems quickly and independently
  • Willingness to travel and work on a flexible schedule, according to activity volume
  • Ability to work across multiple systems; experience with is a plus
