Join the momentum. We are seeking an experienced Coordinator to join our Regional Marketing team. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Positioning the firm for success, our Marketing team supports the growth, business-generating efforts and goals of MNP. We develop and deliver creative and strategic programs that translate the firm’s objectives into market-appropriate media, messages and methodologies. We build and protect our brand in new and existing markets, as well as create and sustain market advantage in all service line, industry and specialty groups.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Performance Expectations

  • Provide direct support to the Senior Regional Marketing Manager (SRMM) in all areas of marketing

  • A key contributor to the marketing team responsible for the coordination, tactical execution, and day-to-day administration of the regional marketing campaigns, strategies and initiatives that make up the annual marketing plans

  • Support the SRMM and the region across its range of marketing activities, including (but may not be limited to) events, sponsorships, advertising, direct marketing, publicity, digital marketing, trade shows, local promotions, community programs, business development presentations, signage, brochures, website and social media

  • Track and report the performance of all marketing initiatives leading to business development

  • Maintain marketing materials and collateral including promotional items, brochures and tradeshow equipment

  • Perform administrative duties specific to the marketing department such as updating and maintaining databases, client lists and preparing materials for distribution to clients

  • Assist with the development of client prospect programs in conjunction with other internal resources and other internal marketing-related initiatives

  • Maintain marketing materials including promotional items, brochures and tradeshow equipment

  • Work with sponsoring organizations to position MNP speakers on event agendas

  • Produce and format documents such as proposals, presentations, communication briefs, correspondence and reports

  • Assist with the tracking of marketing budget spend

  • Assist with the development of the annual marketing plans for the region (including gathering and compiling research that supports the development of the plans)

  • Conduct other projects and ad-hoc activities as directed by the SRMM

Credentials

  • Successful completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Project Management, English, Journalism or related discipline

  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in a marketing capacity and a demonstrated understanding of the marketing process and project coordination

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification considered an asset

  • Experience in a professional services firm preferred

  • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • A valid driver’s license is necessary as travel will be required
