Full-time, Fixed Term (12 Month Contract)

Vancouver, BC

SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts is one of Canada’s leading hotel management companies and manages over 20 hotels and resorts across Canada. We manage independent hotels and hotels operating under major franchise brands, such as Marriott, Hilton, Radisson, Quality, Best Western and Ramada.

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator at our Corporate Office in Vancouver, BC.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will provide marketing support to hotels and Food & Beverage outlets, as well as assist with online marketing and eCommerce initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Produce creative marketing collateral (ads, flat sheets, brochures, signage)
  • Update  website content
  • Provide reporting on campaigns and promotions
  • Support the national campaigns and key program
  • Assist with National Marketing as needed
  • Manage and work with 3rd party vendors such as ad agency and web specialists
  • Other duties as assigned by Marketing Manager and VP Sales &Marketing

Preferred Education & Qualifications:

  • Post Secondary education in Marketing or Communications
  • Excellent MS Office computer skills, experience with content management systems, web analytics and email management systems required
  • Must have working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. and ideally Dreamweaver and HTML
  • Hospitality experience is an asset
  • Minimum one year marketing and internet marketing experience
  • Highly focused with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, managing multiple projects, completing priorities, objectives and deadlines
  • Motivated individual who works well both independently and within a team
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Strong interest in Internet marketing and the web
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
