The Project Manager, Education and Research, is responsible for the coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of projects in the Product Information & Education division of Marketing, while taking into consideration the company’s commitment to sustainability (people, the planet, and profit) in the planning and implementation of all actions related to the area of responsibility.

Job Description & Duties:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Work closely with the director of Education & Events to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems (Wrike), tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project and process documentation
  • Maintain and organize internal servers
  • Follow and adhere to all given instructions including work procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
  • Strictly adhere to and observe all safety policies as outlined in the company policies and training sessions

Requirements :

  • Qualification in project management or equivalent
  • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
  • Direct work experience in project management capacity
  • Proficient in project management software - experience with Wrike an asset
  • Proven experience in people management
  • Strong communication, language and organizational skills
  • MS Office suite – excellent command of Excel
