The Professional Brand Manager, Listerine will be primarily responsible for our oral care product portfolio within the J&J Professional Marketing division. Your primary responsibility is to develop and execute initiatives to drive Dental Professional (DP) recommendations for specific Listerine brands. Understanding the DP mindset, the role you play as an influencer, and utilizing the digital and social media landscape to support the Listerine business objectives will be a priority focus. Additionally, and as a key partner within the professional marketing function, the shaping of broader Health Care Professional (HCP) digital strategy, in collaboration with local professional marketing teams will be an area of focus for you. As a cross functional partner of the commercial marketing team, you are responsible for comprehensive professional brand strategies and marketing plans that align and add to the broader marketing mix (consumer, trade).

Major Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development, execution, and monitoring of annual business plans and programs that will improve professional endorsement, market penetration, dollar share, and product profitability while aligning to the objectives of the broader business.
  • Activate brand company resources, policies and activities that relate to the DP, patient/consumer, government and third party payer to drive professional recommendations.
  • Champion the DP, patient/consumer’s point of view to drive recommendations.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with professional organizations and key opinion leaders.
  • Guide the implementation of professional programs including product advertising through the dental dealer channel, major conferences, sampling, and Continuing Medical Education (CME); and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Partner with internal departments to develop core messaging and action plans.
  • Identify and recommend New Business Opportunities and innovative ways utilizing CRM, digital and scalable solutions.
  • Manage marketing budgets & sales forecasting.
  • Work productively with creative agencies and other outside vendors.
  • Drive excellence in digital fundamentals across HCP engagement platforms including: web, social, video, analytics and mobile.
  • Ensure the brand follows best in class standards, using global and regional capabilities.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a University degree is required, preferably with a concentration in Marketing or Science. MBA is an asset.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience marketing to HCPs.
  • Prior experience in HCP marketing would be an asset.
  • Prior experience as an Assistant Brand Manager or similar function within a marketing department would also be an asset.
  • Digital and social media experience is a requirement.
  • Prior leadership and experience in the strategy and development of digital ecosystems and how web, CRM, mobile, social and search work together to optimize behavior and acquisition is a requirement.
