WHAT YOU DO:

The Production Artist is the key production and design support for the Senior Graphic Designer and will assist with the developing and maintaining all creative and design project supporting the brand’s marketing plan.   The role will ensure creative quality and consistency across all consumer touchpoints.  The Production Artist performs daily professional graphic design work for printed materials, web graphics, ads, apparel patterns, presentations, product packaging and in-store merchandising programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Colour correction of all photography assets
• Seasonal photography editing to ensure accuracy of Stormtech product pertaining to colour, trim, features
• Maintain Photographic Image & Logo Database – naming files according to naming conventions and creating multiple file formats as needed for web and sales teams
• Taking initial creative concepts from Senior Graphic Designer to build press-ready files
• Provide support to Product Development/QC, supplying logos and graphics for labels and hang tags
• Layout and production of web and email graphics, and virtual sample flyers
• Create patterns, prints and line drawings in support in Product Development
• Additional graphic design projects as assigned by Senior Graphic Designer

WHO YOU ARE:

1. A passion for editorial design, illustration and digital content
2. Advanced skills in Adobe, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
3. Comprehensive understanding of print production process, colour correction, photography and design principals
