Based in St. Catharines, ASG takes advantage of a networked structure that taps into the expertise of our associates across Ontario.

ASG boasts a diverse team of 14 associates with expertise in municipal affairs, strategic planning, fundraising, design, social media and association management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to create visually compelling graphics for digital and print media.
• Design and produce high-quality visual assets, including but not limited to social media graphics, website banners, infographics, email templates, and promotional materials.
• Translate project requirements into visually appealing designs that effectively communicate the intended message.
• Ensure consistency of brand aesthetics across various platforms and adhere to brand guidelines.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to projects.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
• Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate fresh design ideas into projects.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of graphic design experience, preferably in a freelance or remote capacity.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including digital and print media.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with remote teams.
• Attention to detail and a strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
• Experience with [specific tools/software relevant to the job, e.g., Figma, Canva] is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of web design principles and HTML/CSS is a plus but not required.
