As an Online Marketing Strategist, your role is to develop programs to support the existing online strategy and product offerings as a part of CAA’s eBusiness team, in conjunction with and our Membership and Travel Insurance lines of businesses. You’ll ultimately be responsible for establishing digital and mobile baseline metrics for CAA’s wide assortment of products and services, delivering against online sales projections and other key performance drivers.

Additionally, you will work with internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance the online product assortment and ensure that the needs of CAA’s Members are met at all times. Understanding the online marketplace and current industry growth trends will help you ensure that CAA can compete at a world-class level online.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain an understanding of CAA’s online and mobile initiatives and work with internal stakeholders to establish key metrics for success of the channels moving forward;
  • In conjunction with stakeholders, work to develop an online strategy that will lead to an increase in online sales revenues, awareness and engagement;
  • Collaborate with peers in other CAA / AAA clubs to implement new technologies and take part in strategic discussions that will impact the future of CAA online and mobile applications;
  • Identify all aspects of online marketing initiatives that need to be operationalized and work with extended teams to support the implementation process, including deployment of marketing campaigns and marketing initiative that require IT development;
  • Work with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and potential areas of concern within CAA websites and other digital touchpoints, as advanced analytic capabilities are developed;
  • Improve the user experience through effecting change
  • Ensure that all communication between CAA and our Members and Non-Members adhere to the strategy of the business channel;
  • Work with various vendors in a vendor management role, including the establishment of proper service level and technology agreements.

Job Requirements :

  • Post-secondary degree in a related field
  • 3-5 years related work experience (in the online eCommerce industry)
  • High degree of knowledge in all online and mobile marketing tactics
  • Analytically driven to make business decisions
  • Content management knowledge and experience
  • Involvement in building and executing winning social media marketing campaigns and strategies
  • Proven track record in delivering online KPI results against forecasts
  • Knowledge of multiple distribution channels (online vs. commercial and retail)
  • Travel Insurance and/or membership marketing work experience
  • Familiarity with user interface/experience, quality assurance and testing
  • Excellent skills at structuring presentations and formats of written material to encourage audience interest and to easily absorb the content
  • Familiarity with user interface/experience, quality assurance and testing
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio
  • Solid understanding of current and emerging trends and technologies online XML, RSS, etc.
  • Ability to create scope documentation from a business perspective to include anticipated ROI, growth trending over time and future potential
