The Online & Marketing Coordinator you will be instrumental in executing communication strategies that expand our engagement with customers with the purpose of driving new customer acquisition and increase existing customer profitability. In this position you will actively participate in a wide variety of written communications and social media networking, including but not limited to:
Blogging, social bookmarking and community discussions for the purposes of community building and search engine optimization
Creation of all marketing collateral and POP materials related to products and programs
Online outreach programs with e-blasts, online advertising creative and media purchase
Management and maintenance of websites with the goal to increase total visitors and pageviews
Search engine optimization (SEO) and Link Building
Paid ad placement and pay-per-click ads
Write and disseminate information through newsletters, websites, social networking and other effective means of communication
Establishing online partnerships with the objective of customer conversions and sales
The Online & Marketing Coordinator will also be responsible for executing direct marketing programs that stimulate business as well as support the outbound sales of the company. The position requires the incumbent to maintain all marketing materials, communicate changes to our customers, and assist in the execution of projects.
The Online & Marketing Coordinator will have excellent computer skills, is detail oriented and well organized. You are very comfortable and adept with all forms of social networking and blogging and posses a thorough understanding of marketing communications principles. You are responsible for managing and implementing all online marketing programs. Work includes B2C and B2B programs.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business, marketing, information technology, communication or a related discipline
2-3 years of online marketing experience including running online marketing programs (online search, banner ads, social media)
You have demonstrated aptitude for social media, including leading initiatives on various social media networks
You are passionate about blogging, micro-blogging, social network and community participation leadership with some experience implementing social media integration projects
You have a working knowledge of social media channels, including YouTube, StumbleUpon, Delicions, Digg, Reddit, Flickr, Forums, Twitter, Wikis, blogs, etc.
You excel at research, possess excellent writing skills and the ability to crank editorial and technical writing output
You have a working knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO), including keyword research
Strong computer skills including familiarity with MS Office applications, HTML, XML, Photoshop, and other Adobe programs.
Basic understanding of HTML and web programming language a plus
