We have a permanent full-time opening for an enthusiastic team player to join us as our Online Content Specialist at our head office in Richmond, BC.
As our Online Content Specialist you will be reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager and will be a key member in our mission to provide an outstanding customer experience through online and other marketing channels.
Digital Content Creation (50%):
Video content creation with a focus on increasing product sales and informative product installation
Coordinating and executing video projects including storyboarding, filming and post production
Building our existing portfolio of professional photography of products both standalone and in use.
Contributing to the digital content creation including but not limited to blog articles, social media posts and product webpages
Setting up a content production schedule and providing updates to the senior team on progress and completion
Create, deploy and analyze email marketing campaigns
Ensuring that the content generated conveys the right message and is in line with Peak’s brand identity and value proposition
Print Content (25%):
- Design new product packaging and in-store displays according to Peak’s branding standards
- Create flyers for promotions and events in addition to internal communication
- Arrange for the translation of print materials
Website Development / SEO (25%):
- Manage the development of website content through CMS (Wordpress)
- Assist in the management of product listings on company and partner websites
- Develop strategic copy/content to drive users (SEO / campaign management)
- Contribute to the expansion of online presence through new channels
Extensive experience in video production (if you have a portfolio, please provide links to your previous work)
Experience with 3D animation software (Maya, 3ds Max)
Experience with digital photography
Working knowledge with Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere)
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and WordPress
Experience with content generation including blog articles, social media posts and visual tools
Fundamental knowledge of SEO, analytics and KPIs for content
Knowledge of online third party applications for tracking and measuring web analytics including Google Analytics, Hootsuite and other tools. Certification in web analytics would be a bonus
An understanding and interest in current digital marketing trends
An understanding and/or interest in home improvement industry
Ability to manage, prioritize and deliver/execute multiple tasks, projects and assignments effectively
Excellent written skills, experience with copywriting is preferred
Bilingual(English and French) is an asset!
