We have an immediate opportunity for a bilingual (French) Media Analyst to join our team and help us deliver on our Expert Services. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years’ experience in the PR/Corporate Communications industry, with specific experience in the field of media monitoring and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute on our on-demand and on-going media services requests (clip books, coverage reports, research and analysis, etc.)
  • Generate Excel and PowerPoint templates to clearly communicate media insights according to client briefs
  • Participate in pre-report calls with clients to understand the issues that are of concern in each reporting cycle
  • Analyze data extracted from the database and create visually engaging charts and graphics
  • Explain a client’s media coverage in the context of their brief and the industry context to provide insight regarding the effectiveness of their communications strategy
  • Communicate insights in a well-written, professional business report as well as alternative deliverables
  • Present and review reports with clients over the phone to ensure business objectives are being met
  • Provide on-going quality control to ensure excellence, consistency and use of industry-leading practices
  • Ensure all reports and deliverables are accurate, high quality, and meet expected client requirements
  • Constantly improve reports and deliverables, in conjunction with the Client Insights Manager, so that they offer the most value to your clients
  • Ensure services are executed in the most cost-effective and efficient manner to provide clients with maximum value

Qualifications

  • Fluent in both English and French, written and spoken (asset)
  • College diploma in PR/Communications or a related field is required. Bachelor’s degree in PR/Communications is preferred.
  • 2 -3 years’ experience in a PR/Communications role is required with at least one year in a corporate communication setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of traditional and social media
  • Open to flexible work-hours, priority is meeting the needs of clients in a timely fashion
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
