Marketing Web Designer full-time

The successful candidate will join Exan's Marketing team with advanced knowledge of web design and web programming languages including HTML, CSS & JavaScript. This dynamic role is a combination of email marketing and other online marketing approaches with the primary goal of providing qualified leads for Exan’s products and services. The candidate will enjoy a fast-paced environment that is highlighted by continuous learning.

The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to create and maintain websites and landing pages, track success and health of the pages, design eye-catching documents, and style email marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have experience in both web development and graphic design. 70% web development, 30% design.

• Responsibilities

  • Building new websites using Wordpress
  • Providing maintenance to existing websites
  • Updating/editing websites regularly for changes requested
  • Email template design
  • Other tasks, as required

• Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in Wordpress and WPEngine required
  • Strong understanding of SEO tools
  • Yoast (Basic understanding of Keywords)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Extensive knowledge of: HTML, CSS, and PHP
  • Strong creative and visual design skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and organize work to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated, with a strong attention to detail
  • Experience and knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Experience with using the following:
  • Pingdom
  • Pardot/Marketo
  • A/B testing (Optimizely or otherwise)
  • 2 years of relevant experience in addition to a degree or certificate in Web Design
