WiderFunnel is hiring a Digital Marketer to join their growing Marketing team!

Digital Marketers are adept at configuring and operating the many different varieties of software that are entwined in marketing today. They often serve as the bridge between non-technical marketers — who need to harness these software-driven capabilities in their work — and the providers of that software: software vendors, digital agencies and IT departments.
WiderFunnel is looking for a tech-savvy marketer who is passionate about implementing tools that automate marketing & sales initiatives. You share an intuitive appreciation for how software works and are passionate about applying that knowledge in the service of brilliant marketing and remarkable customer experiences.
Location: This is a full-time position working in our Vancouver office.
All qualified applicants must be authorized to live and work in Vancouver, BC Canada.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Own the client acquisition and maturation plans to maximize the potential of our marketing automation tools.
Evaluate and recommend marketing technologies to optimize our client acquisition and maturation strategy, including marketing automation, website technologies, social media monitoring and management, etc.
Enhance and maintain our WordPress websites with support from our developers and designers. Evaluate and add marketing features to drive qualified leads.
Manage and optimize our paid media and landing pages.
Coordinate the creation of email communications, technology, and campaigns to our subscribers.
Identify insights from marketing metrics. Track performance of all our marketing activities to improve our marketing KPIs. Use Google Analytics, Optimizely, Hotjar, Buffer, and others as required.
Implement A/B tests of our marketing hypotheses on all owned media.

Post-Secondary degree in one of the following areas is preferred: Business Administration, Marketing Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent training/experience.
2+ years’ experience working with direct marketing technologies. Experience with Hubspot or Marketo, Google Analytics, Optimizely, Hotjar, Buffer, Salesforce
Understand how to use APIs to integrate technologies and data sources.
Web development expertise in Wordpress, CSS, jquery
Solid understanding of direct marketing concepts. Especially as they relate to email marketing, SEM, blog subscription, and landing page acquisition strategies. Knowledge of mobile, social, and ecommerce are definite assets.
A thorough understanding of marketing /sales pipeline practices and KPIs
Understanding/ experience devising direct marketing testing & segmentation strategies
Experience building lead scoring and lead management processes that align marketing & sales
Strong analytical skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
Ability to interact with customers and demonstrate both business and technical skills
Experience in a B2B environment
