Founded in 2005, Think Tank Training Centre specializes in the latest software, techniques and technologies that cater to the needs of the film, television and video game industries. Think Tank Training Centre was born out of a passion for sharing industry knowledge with the next generation of digital artists.

Situated in a beautiful heritage building in North Vancouver, Think Tank boasts a 92% job placement in the CG Industry. In 2015, the school was ranked #1 in Canada and #3 in the world for film, TV and game production at the CG Student Awards.  Most recently at the 2018 “The Rookies”, Think Tank was awarded 2nd in visual effects, 3rd in feature animation and 6th in next gen gaming, competing with more than 600 schools worldwide.

Comfortable with ambiguity, you’ve got a passion for learning and your entrepreneurial mindset means you’re always looking for ways to do it better. You’re a strong communicator with superior writing and editing skills.  You’re highly organized, analytical, and strategic: you see the big picture and yet you aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty.  You take pride in your work and relish being part of every aspect of a project, from idea generation, to reporting analytics.  You can successfully drive projects with minimal guidance, and constructive feedback inspires you to reach further than you thought you could.  Lastly, you boast a strong understanding of performance metrics for communications, have a proven track record of executing successful social media campaigns, and have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or the equivalent.


  • Develop the international marketing strategy to drive applications and then implement that strategy through a combination of channels, such as social media, advertising, digital marketing, industry engagement, online forums, events, public relations, press releases, and merchandise.

  • Develop, track and control the marketing budget.  Measure and report on marketing effectiveness and develop new approaches to constantly improve results while working within budget.

  • Present in-depth content strategies and analytics results to the owners.  Use data-driven intelligence and visualizations, to report key insights to the team on campaign performance, and advocate for course-correcting changes when needed.

  • Manage the process of admissions and reporting for admissions pipeline activity.  Use our CRM software to build relationships with students (current, future, alumni), to manage enrollment targets, and to analyze campaign effectiveness.

  • Lead the tactical content strategy execution, digital content production and marketing plan for Think Tank Online.  Collaborate with our media manager to create killer content for promotional purposes. Routinely create and update content based on industry trends, international competition, and analytics results from marketing campaigns.

  • Spearhead Think Tank’s social media presence to build international brand awareness.  Actively drive Think Tank’s social media channels, update company blogs, create and publish editorials and monitor both paid and organic social media campaigns.

  • Be the voice and the face of the company and grow an active audience base across multiple mediums.  Curate emotionally-impactful compelling content in our brand voice without sacrificing clarity.  Create & execute messaging and competitive positioning strategies for our products to create brand awareness, fuel sales growth, and increase customer engagement.

  • Fluent in more than one language

  • Previous live streaming experience on platforms such as Twitch, YouTube and/or Mixer
