Marketing Specialist full-time
We are seeking an enthusiastic, up-and-coming marketing professional who has a passion for retail marketing and project management. In the role of Marketing Specialist, you play an important role in the execution of integrated marketing campaigns, national product launches and coordination of retail events. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong project management and cross-functional delivery skills to create and execute marketing plan elements for the GLENTEL retail brands.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the marketing planning process and toolkit development for specific programs and campaigns, and coordinate implementation: production, internal rollout, external communications and distribution through relevant channels, including media, digital and social media channels
Liaison with the in-house design team, external vendors and agencies to develop materials to support marketing programs
Coordinate the approvals, deliverables, and communications of pre-approved programs with network partners and manufacturers
Develop and manage marketing materials (in-store signage, video content, etc.)
Coordinate events including grand openings, product launches, and in-store events
Processing of purchase orders, invoices, and management of related budgets and invoice tracking systems.
Monitor brand communication plans and strategies for uniformity in messaging, including templates, tag lines, and logo usage
Cultivate and maintain productive and efficient working relationships with internal and external resource partners
Manage marketing inquiries from retail stores
Qualifications
Post-secondary diploma or degree in Marketing or related field
2+ years of experience in the field of marketing or communications
Possess an understanding and have experience with online marketing, branding and project planning
Professional oral and written communications with experience in marketing communications, copywriting and proofreading
Experience working with InDesign software
“Can do” attitude with a willingness to learn and collaborate with others
Flexible, results oriented with strong attention to detail
Technical proficiencies in MS Office applications
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a team
Exceptional organizational skills to manage and prioritize a diverse workload
Passion for, interest in and knowledge of telecommunications
French is an asset
