Wesgroup owns and manages over 2.2 million square feet of commercial property and has built more than 6000 homes in 100 communities.

The marketing team of Wesgroup is looking for an action oriented team player to play an important role in managing Wesgroup’s residential, commercial and corporate brand identity. This role is integral to the launch and tempo marketing campaigns for residential projects from envisioning and positioning to developing relationships with suppliers and negotiating their contracts. The role of Marketing Manager will consist of, but not be limited to, the following:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leading the project envisioning and developing the marketing plan and strategy
  • Developing and providing direction to the marketing coordinators on the execution of all elements of the marketing plan
  • Analyzing the market and creating a competition study
  • Driving the lead generation strategy
  • Project budget creation and management
  • Directing and providing feedback on marketing collateral and sales centre design and build
  • Event planning

Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • 5+ years of residential project marketing experience in a diverse real estate environment
  • Experience in the development of the marketing strategy and execution on all elements of the marketing plan
  • Experience in the development and management of the project budget
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) are required along with strong editing and proofreading skills
  • Event planning experience
  • Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills including the ability to multi-task with competing priorities
  • Positive attitude and a desire to help others
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Working knowledge of design software including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is ideal but not required
