Position: Marketing Manager

We are a lean and growing Software-as-a-Service outfit located in downtown Vancouver. Our clients are North American medical schools. Our talented team of software developers, product managers, and sales staff are looking to partner with a Marketing Manager to help drive our ambitious business objectives of increasing market share, sales, and client satisfaction from a proven product with a very well established customer base. Key Duties and Responsibilities
Get to know our industry. You love marketing to universities and you’ve had success doing it. Learn about why we do what we do, who we sell to, and what their business needs are. Become an expert in our field and on our competitors so we’re always one step ahead.
Get to know our clients. You know just how to work your way through a university’s typical buying process and how to get the right message to the Dean and senior administration. Craft the messaging, brand, and tone of our suite of products to create and sustain demand for our features.
Help us succeed! You can create a top notch marketing plan, covering all the bases from strategic planning to marketing communications, and are ‘hands-on’ to ensure it’s executed fully to fill our sales funnel with quality leads.
Get to know us. Collectively, we bring a lot to the table. Leverage our skills in software and product development to help steer us in a more strategic direction. Consult with us on product specs based on sound industry knowledge. Manage the marketing and promotional activities of one45 Software, and plan the launch of new products in conjunction with the software development, sales, and product management team to ensure successful rollout of new features.
Business or marketing related degree or equivalent professional qualifications
Extensive background selling and marketing to universities
Experience with SAAS business models and applications
