Reports to: Director, Global Marketing

Location: Head Office, Surrey, British Columbia, Canada

The essence of the opportunity:

This role supports the activation of our corporate transformation in to a global sales and marketing organization

  • lead generation - skilled in driving lead generation programs across multiple touch points, using the power of referral among print, social, WOM and web to draw interest, engage with prospects and nurture interest through long sales process
  • customer experience - drive CE program tthat improves every customer touch point to reinforce the brand for its quality, intelligence, relevance and leadership
  • dealer support - manage support system to activate and motivate our front-line sales partners, arming them with the best materials, competitive intel and marketing support;
  • market development - develop, execute and evaluate multiple programs targeting specific customer targets with precise marketing message in Endurance’s main markets, UK and Italy
  • brand leadership - devise and deploy programs that transfer the strongest product attributes to the global brand in support of new product launches
  • product marketing -  leverage market intelligence, competitive analysis and creative strategies to market, dominate the space, fuel desire and drive torrents of lead-traffic to dealers

Your background and qualifications

  • 6-10 years marketing experience, formal education in marketing
  • comfortable and capable as heavy-lifter on a lean team
  • excited about being accountable for results in lead generation
  • skilled in building demand gen programs, managing hand-off to sales team, gathering results and improving success rates and cost of acquisition
  • adept in plucking insights from market research and applying competitive advantages, product attributes and brand leadership
  • experienced in mobilizing channel sales, applying market advantages, leveraging brand reputation, maximizing web presence and program outcome

  • drive competitive success by analyzing competitor and market trends and results; contribute data and insight relevant to product pricing strategies
  • meet marketing objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs
  • sustain rapport with dealers and sales teams by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities

  • mature sense of responsibility for the important role of global marketing requirements for  Endurance products
  • capable of dealing effectively in busy environment where project multiply, priorities appear to shift but goals remain fixed and all jobs must be completed
  • detail-obsessed and data-driven; high accountability to results and laser focus on program evaluation and improvement to model locally successful initiatives into corporate-wide market-tested programs that will create a competitive market advantage for brand and products, dealers and sales team
  • high sense of program and brand ownership; personal involvement in creating marketing that is meaningful, engaging and electrifying to the market and a source of pride for the organization - we are going global and demand marketing that stands up to world standards

Your education and training

  • five to seven years’ experience in marketing, program management, advertising and branding with national or international brand leader dealing in high end consumer goods (not FMCG) or in B2B marketing where consumer is end customer; automotive is relevant
  • university degree in business or marketing, or liberal arts with studies that support marketing insights and required skills
  • seminars and course training specific to specialist areas of marketing such as lead generation, web marketing, SEO, lead nurturing, sales and marking strategy, etc.
  • skilled and capable project manager with a near obsessive level of detailed execution
  • eloquent and precise in written communication with obvious complement of computing skills
  • adequate creative flair and marketing panache to discern the strong, fresh concepts with high potential from overly-clever lines and contrived execution
