Who we are

Musora Media is the leader in online music education, with more than 15 years of experience, 100 million video views, 100+ staff, and 100+ instructors. We are dedicated to making the world a better place through music. We are looking for exceptional people who believe in the power of music and can contribute on a daily basis to the growth of our brands - Drumeo, Pianote, Singeo, and Guitareo - helping to achieve our ambitious goal of educating the world about the joys of learning music.

Our Team

We are a dedicated and driven team that works closely together to achieve our goals. We believe in a healthy work-life balance where we can step up when it's required but also celebrate and relax after a big win. Lunchtime has been known to include ping-pong, playing music, and getting to know the team! We work very hard to stay on the cutting edge of technology in order to offer the best possible products to our customers as well as provide the latest and greatest tools for our employees.

Position Overview

We’ve built some amazing online music lesson platforms (Drumeo, Pianote, Guitareo, Singeo) – serving students around the world – and we’re looking for a driven marketer to lead our marketing funnels, email marketing, promotions, paid ads, content strategy, and ultimately help us grow our new SINGING brand!

Responsibilities:

  • Organize promotions
  • Manage the brand’s marketing funnel: from new leads, to prospects, to customers.
  • Write all emails – including 15+ monthly broadcasts and any lead-gen automations.
  • Manage all Singeo-related marketing assets: public-facing websites, email marketing, social media pages, video marketing channels, advertising, and partnerships.
  • Brainstorm and deliver fresh strategies for reaching more students and increasing revenue.
  • Develop key workflows with non-marketing teams to organize assets and hit deadlines (Content, Product, and Student Experience).

Key Skills:

  • Passionate about singing and able to understand the market for online singing lessons, empathizing with students and finding solutions that resonate.
  • Excellent copywriting.
  • Recognize the difference between personality-driven messaging that tells a story, inspires students, and invites them into action vs bland copy that feels corporate, pitchy, and off-putting.
  • Understand the customer journey.
  • Understand the value of SEO, Analytics, content marketing, social media, advertising, and email marketing – and how they interact.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent project management and workflow management.
  • Able to set monthly goals and annual revenue goals and take full responsibility to create the revenue initiatives to reach them.
  • Lead the conversation when there are shifts in strategy or goals.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Revenue
  • Number of new Singeo members.
  • Number of new email leads & cost per signup.
  • Social media follower counts & engagement.
  • YouTube subscribers & view counts.

You will NOT be alone on this journey. We have an incredible marketing operations team to assist you with reporting and ad management, a creative team to help with web design and photography/graphics, a development team for websites and data, a production team to film and edit video ads/trailers/content, and a student experience team who’ll take care of every prospect and student along the way.

Room For Growth: A successful Marketing Manager will be considered for a future Marketing Director opportunity with added responsibilities in determining marketing goals, choosing or developing marketing technology (tools or systems), budget allocation, associated KPIs, and acting as the brand’s top marketing authority while managing an independently branded marketing team.

Job Details:

  • Compensation is $80,000 - $100,000, flexible, based on experience.
  • Full time at our head office in Abbotsford, BC, Canada with some flexibility to work from home.

  • Paid time off - we understand and value the importance of rest and recovery and that includes time away from work!
  • Onsite parking, on-site gym, and office events (on-site & virtual)! Be a part of a fun-loving team!
  • Onsite SNACKS, beer/kombucha fridge, coffee/tea and more! We want to make sure you stay fuelled throughout the day!
