Marketing Manager - BC Region full-time
Description:
The Dilawri Group of Companies, Canada’s largest automotive group, is seeking a full time Marketing Manager to join the company’s expanding Vancouver marketing team. The successful candidate will report to the Regional Communications Director to develop and implement results-driven strategies for strengthening vehicle sales and service at the company’s 10 dealerships in British Columbia.
The ideal candidate will have previous marketing management experience in the automotive retail industry and a proven track record for executing highly effective campaigns. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with all dealership sales and service managers, marketing staff and vendors to activate monthly retail programs as outlined by the manufacturer, in addition to initiating dynamic tactical programs; and measuring and reporting all results. The candidate will also be responsible for co-managing the overall marketing strategy and the marketing team with the Regional Communications Director.
DUTIES:
Manage media plans and marketing strategy for 10 automotive dealerships in BC.
Liaise with automotive manufacturers, sales and service managers, vendors and agencies to execute results-driven tactical sales and service campaigns based on monthly manufacturer offers and dealership requirements.
Work closely with Regional Communications Director on marketing initiatives to ensure consistency and integration with the region’s overall communications strategy.
Coordinate all traditional advertising activities, including approval of print ads, radio copy, POP and OOH.
Co-manage marketing team comprised of a graphic designer, web strategist and marketing coordinator.
Collaborate with the company’s business development centre on seasonal service campaigns.
Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results.
Conduct campaign analysis to optimize future campaign results.
Requirements
Post secondary diploma/degree in Marketing
5-7 years marketing experience, preferably in automotive retail
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a managerialrole within a marketing department
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and drive results
Experience in tracking and controlling budgets
Excellent judgment and problem solving skills
Ability to conduct analytical and conceptual tasks
Critical thinking, strong decision making, ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects
Exceptional analytical and research skills
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and relationship-building skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Mandarin also preferred.
Advertising agency management experience
