We have an immediate opening for a full-time Marketing & Events Specialist! This individual will be responsible for both event coordination and marketing administration!

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manages, coordinates, and/or assists with all Special Event Marketing (such as campus life events - both on campus and distance, graduation ceremonies, information sessions, off-site events, and the annual staff Christmas party)
  • Manages and supports marketing events and promotions by negotiating and liaising with suppliers to secure venue space and/or products
  • Works with the Digital Marketing team in promoting Special Events online and on social media
  • Assists with the preparation of marketing presentations, reports, and communications (both orally and written)
  • Researches and analyzes marketing-related data internally and externally
  • Provides marketing-related support to the other members of the Stenberg team as required


  • 2+ years of Marketing experience
  • A Diploma or Degree in Marketing or Communications is preferred
  • Experience in Digital Marketing (SEO, AdWords, Analytics, and Social Media) is an asset
  • An interest in all aspects of the marketing process
  • Exceptional project, time management, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with strong reporting abilities
  • Ability to work independently or part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, & PowerPoint
  • Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle
