The Marketing Director position is a key role that reports to the CEO, providing vision and leadership for all marketing-led activities. The Marketing Director will drive the vision for key functional areas including demand generation, brand, and communications. You will be expected to set the roadmap and lead the strategic direction of marketing.
Responsibilities:
Catapult our brand into a top-of-mind position in our chosen B2B markets and build our brand equity
Drive inbound and outbound marketing initiatives designed to support sales
Understand our markets, the customer journey and the competitive landscape
Articulate the messaging of our brand and manage communications with our customers
Manage and further develop our website
Mentor, educate and grow the collective knowledge of the marketing team
Manage the budget and be accountable for the results
Develop and measure key metrics. Use data and analytics to drive insights.
Own the relationship with external partners and contractors
Skillset:
Experience developing creative and thought-provoking high-level marketing and brand strategies in line with the strategic vision of the organization
A visionary with a deep understanding of leading-edge marketing strategies and with a proven track record of creating integrated campaigns and initiatives that will drive brand engagement, build the sales pipeline and increase revenues
Ability to lead and coach a team to achieve both departmental and personal goals
Ability to lead change and create a safe place to be bold and try new initiatives
Advanced knowledge of best practices in B2B SaaS marketing, digital marketing and global lead generation, with a heavy emphasis on process, measurement and analytics
Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the company
Deep understanding and experience of using technology to deliver the goals
Strong project management skills with the ability to delegate
Qualifications:
Bachelor in Marketing, Communications or related field
Minimum 5 years experience in a marketing leadership role, ideally for a SaaS business
