You will support the Senior Brand Manager in the day-to-day management of their department and serve as an ambassador for the Natrel brands (primarily Island Farms) in BC.
More specifically, the incumbent will:
Manage the donation requests process which includes review and evaluation for recommendation, liaison with contact, coordination with internal staff, preparation of donated goods (gift baskets, etc.);
Coordinate the execution of sponsorship programs (including consumer shows, fairs and parades) with both internal and external stakeholders with occasional attendance onsite required to ensure good execution;
Collaborate with functional teams and all key internal stakeholders (Sales, Order Desk, Distribution, Production, R&D) to ensure flawless execution;
Manage promotional activity schedules for mascots and tent PR use;
Provide assistance, as required, in the execution of marketing activities to include digital online and social media, promotions, packaging, online/offline advertising media.
Support day to day relationships with 3rd party suppliers (e.g. agency partners, mascots, service providers) as necessary.
- University degree in Marketing, Public Relations and/or Communications and/or equivalent work experience in a relevant field;
Good understanding of digital and social media platforms considered an asset;
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint;
Excellent communication skills including written, oral and presentation skills;
Organized with the ability to lead others and manage multiple demands;
Self-starter with the initiative and ability to make decisions;
Passion and enthusiasm for promoting our products, community initiatives and brand recognition;
Valid driver’s licence and personal vehicle;
Flexible work schedule is required with the ability to work weekends and travel occasionally.
