Marketing Coordinator full-time

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with sales team in the creation of new marketing strategies, customer promotions
• Increase ADESA's awareness in the wholesale and public vehicle remarketing industry
• Conduct market research analysis
• Source advertising opportunities, negotiating rates and placing ads in local, regional publications, radio, social media etc
• Responsible for advertising by creating and designing flyers and ads to create awareness of ongoing activities and services available at the auction
• Prepare dealer handouts, market reports and vehicle lists for dealers
• Coordinate and purchase supplies for sales promotions
• Coordinate all aspects of trade shows, conferences, seminars, receptions and special events
• Coordinate employee and charitable events
• Prepare sales reports as required
• Working with current and sourcing future off-hours business exposure opportunities (ie) car club shows
• May be required to do some lifting (up to 50 lbs)

Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Marketing
• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
• Must be proficient with various software applications, such as MS Office, PowerPoint and Graphic related software
• Self starter who can work in a fast paced environment
• A strong work ethic and the willingness to work with tight deadlines and occasionally extended hours
• Proven ability as a team player
• Creative thinker with an outgoing personality and a sense of humour
