Marketing Coordinator contract
Part-time, Permanent, 20 hours per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
Purpose of Role
To support the Marketing Manager on a broad range of initiatives that include, but are not limited to: newsletter production and delivery; social media endeavours; editing and printing of publications and presentations; coordination of website updates; coordination of ads; coordination of the purchase, delivery and inventorying of promotional items; coordination of marketing meetings; coordination of various marketing programs; coordination of corporate photo shoots; assistance with seminars and events; maintaining electronic marketing data and files and being the primary source of contact for this information.
Reports to Marketing Manager
Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Personal Attributes
Post secondary education in marketing and/or communications
Strong English language skills – both written and verbal
Proven ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple, simultaneous projects
Proven ability to see projects through and meet deadlines
Proven ability to be self-motivated and work independently
Excellent interpersonal skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Proven ability to work fluidly and effectively with busy staff at all levels of an organization to get the task done
Proven ability to learn and adapt to shifting and evolving job requirements
Adept at Windows Office suite of software (especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
Has working knowledge of social networking sites (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter) and willingness to learn more about how to use these and other social media to enhance Manning Elliott’s business development efforts and create greater public awareness of our firm
Experience working with a professional services firm or knowledge of the demands and nature of accounting and/or finance is an asset
