Marketing Coordinator Full-Time

Reporting to the General Manager, the Marketing Coordinator is required to perform a range of duties including, but not limited to:

  • Develop and implement marketing policies and strategies
  • Conduct marketing studies and reports
  • Manage client and partner relationship
  • Visit school agencies to educate agents about school programs, advertise promotions, give student feedback, and resolve any issues or complaints
  • Give on-line presentation to prospective students and agents
  • Update and maintain VGC's website and its social networking channels
  • Report current market trends and assist in development of promotions
  • Respond to e-mail and phone calls from students as well as agents
  • Provide counseling to prospective students about life, education, and tourism in Canada
  • Explore possibilities for new market expansion
  • Assist development and distribution of marketing materials such as brochures and pamphlets
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in interactive marketing/media and Search Engine Marketing
  • Tracking campaigns, preparing performance analysis reports of post campaign and making recommendations to concurrent programs for corrective modifications
  • Developing standardize presentations, sales scripts, proposals
  • Writing and maintaining content and providing monthly updates to company website
  • Producing newsletter
  • Assisting in writing, tracking and delivery of press releases
  • Monitoring online blogs for tracking communications related to the brand of a company
  • Developing lead generation plans with targets, measures, and objectives
  • Working with customers in developing case studies, references, and testimonials
  • Executing and analyzing results of advertisement and marketing campaigns

Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Education and Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or business development.
  • 2 to 3 years experience in Marketing or a related field
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and a positive attitude, able to elicit feedback and seek input from various staff within the organization
  • Demonstrate successful experience identifying and managing business development initiatives with a significant impact on revenue growth
  • Demonstrate experience in international marketing communications and strategy
  • Demonstrate success in online marketing and social media
  • Ability to proactively identify opportunities for new and improved services
  • Experience in new client identification and relationship development/maintenance in the domestic and, in particular, international arenas.
  • A superior record of generating new business and building/maintaining client relationship in existing and new market sectors
