Who you are:

Are you a passionate communicator and an ambitious digital marketer who loves turning ideas into tangible results? We’re hiring a marketing coordinator who will be responsible for executing our day-to-day marketing tactics, providing input to marketing planning, and creating stellar content. From planning our annual conference, to crafting our next email campaign, to developing product launch positioning, you enjoy working in an environment where no two days are the same. This position is ideally suited to a junior level marketing person looking to propel their digital marketing career and gain a wide range of experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Brand Awareness: Champion the ThoughtFarmer and OpenRoad brands, ensuring that all published materials meet brand standards.

  • Content Marketing: Write, proofread and edit content for various marketing activities including our website, email campaigns, case studies and white papers. Publish content across our various social channels using our brand standards and brand voice. Optimize website content for organic search traffic.

  • Event Planning: Assist in planning and coordinating events including our annual client conference, monthly marketing and client webinars, exhibit booths, monthly Vancouver User Experience meetups, and key client events throughout the year. Make guests feel welcome at events with a friendly, outgoing, professional demeanor.

  • Proposal Writing: Prepare request-for-proposal responses that highlight key benefits of ThoughtFarmer and demonstrate how our product solves specific business problems.

  • Marketing and Sales Technology: Implement, maintain, and continuously improve marketing and sales systems, including OpenRoad and ThoughtFarmer websites, Marketo, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and others as required.

  • Media Planning: Create and execute paid social media and search campaigns.

  • Measurement & Reporting: Measure marketing campaigns and provide insight on their successes and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • A degree or diploma in a marketing or communications related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Strong writing and storytelling skills.

  • An interest in technology. We market technology products and services, using the latest marketing and sales tools. You don’t need to be an expert, but you should have an open mind and be able to learn how to use new software tools quickly.

  • Experience with one or more of the following: social media, event planning, email marketing, marketing automation, Wordpress, CRM systems. Please include any links to examples you may have.

  • Proficiency with measurement and reporting tools, including Google Analytics and Excel.
