PowerPlay is looking for a Vancouver-based Marketing Coordinator to join the team and assist with execution of a variety of project marketing initiatives across projects as well as supporting our corporate marketing and internal communications strategy. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated marketing professional who is passionate about real estate, thrives in a performance-based environment, and enjoys working with teams. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (With Average % of Time):

70% Execution of Sales and Project Marketing Initiatives

  • Coordination of vendors and suppliers (creative agencies, media planners, PR firms, and others as required by the project)
  • Event planning and logistics for on-resort events as required
  • Social Media calendar management and campaign execution
  • Administrative tasks for the Sales and Marketing departments
  • Copywriting for marketing materials, collateral, and brand communications as needed
  • Digital marketing coordination and management (website, media campaigns, etc..)
  • CRM system and database management support as required
  • Some travel to project sites
  • Perform other duties or projects as assigned

30% Corporate Marketing

  • Corporate website content updates
  • Social media calendar creation and content posting
  • Internal communication coordination
  • Press release drafting as required


  • Bachelors Degree or Diploma, preferably in marketing or communications
  • 2 - 5 years working in a marketing capacity
  • Ability to travel to the United States
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Entrepreneurial - can work independently, but loves to work with a team
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking / frequent interruptions
  • Proficient writing skills
  • Experience with MS Office Suite
  • Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, HootSuite)
  • Real estate industry experience an asset
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or other graphic design applications an asset
  • Familiarity with CRM systems an asset
