Marketing Coordinator Full-Time

As part of Maple Leaf Sports + Entertainment (MLSE), the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of numerous marketing, advertising, promotional and sales initiatives for Maple Leaf Square. An integral member of the team, your experience and enthusiasm for promotions and events, coupled with your strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate projects varying in scope & deadline will be pivotal to the teams’ success. As an important member of the team, you will be expected to demonstrate energy, creativity, and excellent communication skills; contributing to the flawless execution of all Maple Leaf Square initiatives and promotions.


  • Support the day-to-day Marketing of Maple Leaf Square and its properties including: Real Sports Apparel, Real Sports Bar & Grill, e11even, and Hotel Le Germain
  • Assist the Manager, Marketing with all Maple Leaf Square advertising initiatives with an emphasis on incorporating integrated promotions and PR strategies in support of achieving the overall sales goals
  • Oversee time-lines and accuracy for projects. Write creative briefs & work closely with the Creative Account Team, clearly identifying the goals of the project, direction & guidelines
  • Coordinate and update the monthly calendar of events; track all internal and external key events. Share with clients: RSA, RSBG and e11even as required
  • Assist with the coordination and execution of all promotions, events and partner activations, including pre-post and day of logistics
  • Liase with the content team regarding timely updates for, and
  • Draft internal and external correspondence including CRM and social media messages
  • Coordinate event planners, hotel concierge and neighborhood condo database
  • Develop bi-monthly contest platforms for Real Sports properties; assist in the development and approval of rules and regulations
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates of all promotional and sales materials
  • Assist in other related projects and contribute towards team goals
  • Be a brand ambassador for all MLSE properties and continually work towards developing award winning campaigns


  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in Marketing, Promotions or Events Management
  • Post Secondary Graduate from a Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations or Sports Business program preferred
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to listen, understand and communicate effectively
  • A creative thinker who can proactively develop and execute new concepts and ideas
  • Proven ability to oversee multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Self-starter with an ongoing awareness and responsiveness to client satisfaction
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and develop professional relationships
  • Passionate, committed, outgoing, enthusiastic, reliable and works well within a team environment
