Job Description

An exciting and challenging position exists as Marketing Coordinator at Sequel Naturals head office in Port Coquitlam, BC. We are seeking an experienced professional with two years marketing experience to join our marketing department on a full-time basis. You will work closely with our consumer marketing and product launch team to support marketing programs throughout Canada and the USA. The core responsibility of this role is to support marketing initiatives at the consumer and retail level including product launches, advertising, and product launches.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate print production for selling and POS tools including liaising with print vendors and operations for item set-up and marketing inventory purchases
  • Develop promotional planograms
  • Write content and proof promotional materials and selling tools
  • Coordinate implementation of mailouts, marketing and sales samples
  • Create and write copy for promo sheets
  • Coordinate and evaluate marketing materials usage
  • Research competitive promotional offers
  • Research and source of promotional items and offers (packaging, free gifts, etc.)
  • Coordinate advertising creative and value ad opportunities

Product Launches

  • Research industry and nutrition data and competitive activity
  • Coordinate and evaluate marketing materials usage
  • Coordinate copy edits, proofing and translation
  • Support product launch management by following up on deliverable, setting up SKUs and liaising with operations team on inventory and marketing materials


  • Business degree in marketing
  • Two years experience in marketing
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills as well as the ability to multitask among a multitude of projects and responsibilities
  • Basic design and layout skills
  • Understanding of retail merchandising an asset
